Stone age man improved his tools and became a better hunter. Very small tools used during this period. They were less than 2 inches in lengths. These were called microliths. They were tiny and sharp.Different tools were made for different purposes and there was a variety of knives. The knives were fashioned out of stone and then attached to handles of bone, wood, or horn. Many microliths made of flint stone, jasper ,agate, quartzite and chert have been found. Microliths were probably also used to make spearhead, arrowheads, sickles, and daggers. Some important Mesolithic sites are Bhimbetka and Bagor. Microliths have also been found near Narmada, Tapi and Sabarmati rivers.
This is evidence to prove that at this age man learnt how to tame animals. He also learnt how to makes Hooks and traps to catch fish, and canoes from trees.
Thank you!!

I hope it will help you :-)
