Mirabai was a 16th-century Hindu mystic poet and devotee of Krishna.Most legends about Meera mention her fearless disregard for social and family conventions, her devotion to Lord Krishna, her treating Krishna as her husband, and she being persecuted by her in-laws for her religious devotion

She was married at 13 with Bhoj Raj who was more popular as Rana Kumbha or Kumbha Rana, heir of Rana Sangram Singha from Mewar, Rajasthan. The Rana family belonged to Sisodia clan. Since her childhood, Meera was a fond of Lord Krishna
