Explanation:

'Parenchyma' is the most 'common tissue' of the plants. Plant-life starts with the parenchymatous tissue. 'Parenchyma cells' usually are thin-walled and are made of cellulose.

Parenchyma cells are of 3 types. The types are sclerified parenchyma, chlorenchyma, Aerenchyma.

  • 'Thick and lignified walls' can be seen in the 'xylem parenchyma', particularly in the secondary xylem. Those cells are called sclerified parenchyma.
  • Chloroplast containing parenchyma cells concerned with photosynthesis are called chlorenchyma
  • Intercellular spaces are longer in many plants belonging to the aquatic kingdom. Plants having such tissue is often called aerenchyma.
