SOLUTION:
Sapro means rotten and phyton means plant. In this nutrition organism obtain it's food from decaying organic matter of dead plants, dead animals and rotten bread. In Saprophytic nutrition the organism releases some juices to soften or digest the food and then absorbs the nutrients. Thus they decompose the dead organic matter into simpler substances. Fungi(yeast, moulds, mushrooms) and many bacteria are saprophytic in nutrition. Organisms having saprotrophic mode of nutrition are called saprophytes. Saprophytic nutrition is also known as saprotrophic nutrition.

Saprotrophic nutrition /sæprɵˈtrɒfɪk/ is a process of chemoheterotrophic extracellular digestion involved in the processing of dead or decayed organic matter. It occurs in saprotrophs or heterotrophs, and is most often associated with fungi (for example Mucor and Rhizobium) and soil bacteria.
