a lot of the later mughals were, in simple words, corrupt. some mughals made careless desicions and others just didnt want to actually take on the responsibility of a ruler. they just wanted to have the luxury.

Aurangzeb the last or the sixth emperor of mughal empire was very ambitious and wanted to increase  the geographical limits of his empire.he made a lot of enemies like rajputs,Jats and Marathas which led to the destruction of the mughal empire.
