Delhi's iron pillar is 7m (23 feet) of kirti pillar (pillar of victory or pillar pillar), originally standing and Hindu god Lord Vishnu in 3-4th century AD in the form of Khwaja (banner) by King Chandra Dedicated, presently stands in the Qutub campus in Mehrauli, Delhi, India. [1] It is remarkable for the corrosion-resistant structure of the metals used in its construction.

The column has attracted the attention of the archaeologists and the scientists of the material as it is due to high resistance to the rust and they are said to testify in the extraction and processing of iron by the ancient Indian iron tunes received by the high level of skill. [2] [3] Crystalline iron hydrogen phosphate hydrates on iron with high-phosphorous-content is the result of corrosion resistance, which protects it from the influence of Delhi climate. [2]

The weight of the column is more than 6,000 kilograms (13,000 pounds) and it is believed that what is now Udayagiri by one of the secret monarchs in 402 CE, although the exact date and place is a matter of controversy.
