Woolen clothes keeps us warm in the winter because it have fibred in which air get trapped and do not reach to our body . Woolen clothes are insulator of heat due to which our body temperature donot radiate through it

Wool keep our body warm because due to the air pockets between fibres of wool . The air around us is not a good conductor of heat . If we could keep the air around us still then it would act as a good insulator of heat . The fibres of wool prevent the movement of air pockets , keeping it still....
