The right to vote by all mentally healthy individuals irrespective of his or her representative casre, creed, religion, gender, literacy is regarded as Universal Adult Franchise. Individuals should attain a particular age in order to exercise this voting right.universal adult franchise means all citizens who's age is above 18 have the right to vote.in other words all citizens except lunatics,minors,aliens,bankrupts,criminals... etc.are entitled to vote without any discrimination on the basis of sex, religion, caste, language etc.Universal suffrage (also universal adult suffrage, general suffrage or common suffrage) consists of the extension of the right to vote to adult citizens (or subjects), though it may also mean extending that right to minors (Demeny voting) and non-citizens. Although suffrage has two necessary components, the right to vote and opportunities to vote, the term universal suffrage is associated only with the right to vote and ignores the frequency that an incumbent government consults the electorate. Where universal suffrage exists, the right to vote is not restricted by race, sex, belief, wealth, or social status.Universal adult franchise means that regardless of qualification, caste, colour, etc., all citizens above the age of 18 have the right to vote.It means that every adult: man or woman, rich or poor, landowner or not, has a right to vote
