this forests are restricted to heavy rainfall areas of the western ghats and in Upper part of assam and tamilnadu .the tree reaches great heights upto 60 metres.

tropical rainforests are forests which gets a lot of rain in whole year. there is a large wildlife
because of rainfall, warm temperature etc. the animals found in this region are elephants, tigers etc. the trees include teak and sal. the trees donot shed their leaves all togeterly.
