PREAMBLE :-
- Preamble is the introduction to the Constitution.
- This is the modified version of the 'Objectives Resolution’ that was moved by Jawaharlal Nehru.
- on December 13, 1946 and adopted by the Constituent Assembly on January 22, 1947.
- So far Preamble has been amended only once in the year 1976 through 42nd amendment.
- The 42nd amendment added 3 new words to the Preamble (i.e. SOCIALIST, SECULAR, INTEGRITY).
