Dholavira is the site of Indus Valley civilization discovered in 1991 by RS Bisht. A unique harnessing system and a storm water drainage has been found here. It is the only Indus site to have 3 divisions in the city

The site was discovered in 1967-1968 by J. P. Joshi ex. D.G. of A.S.I. and is the fifth largest of eight major Harappan sites. It has been under excavation since 1990 by the Archaeological Survey of India,
