● He is the present captain of Indian cricket team in all three formats
● He was born in punjab but got up in Delhi and played ranji trophy for Delhi
● His jersey number is 18 there is a special reason for it {Heart touching reason}
Reason :-
When he was 18 years old he was playing ranji trophy, his team need to score a huge target then its virat turn to score big and make his team victorious and suddenly he got a news that his father was dead due to heart attack very sad to hear it and he still under such situation scored 80 runs and won the match for his team and dedicated the win to his father. From then his jersey number is 18
