What is the funniest and the most unforgettable moment of your life?
One funny incident happened to my uncle. He had a Bajaj Chetak scooter. During early 1990, these kick start scooters were still available in Indian market , unlike battery powered self start. He along with his wife went to church on a Sunday morning. After church service, he was struggling to kick start the Chetak. After a dozen kicks, as his wife was standing beside him helplessly watching, that kick from heaven arrived which sent the Chetak’s engine roaring back to life. Instinctively, Uncle got on the scooter, changed it to the first gear and sped off, leaving his exasperated and fuming wife behind.
After switching off and getting the scooter on to the main, he got into his house, changed his dress.
“Sophie, get me a cup of tea”.
He resumed reading morning newspaper in the living room.
After few moments, there was deafening silence. Like raging bull, he walked into kitchen, to see there was nobody there. Then he came back to the living room.
I am taking about the time before Mobile phones era.
It was then he realised that he left his wife at the church.
Immediately got dressed, he returned to church to see his enraged wife.
