He gave a } \\ \text{speech on the importance of reading \: good books.} \\ \text{ There was a beautiful Bihu dance show and one} \\ \text{ act play by the students for the audience.} \\ \text{ Even there was competetion of writing the} \\ \text{ review on the famous assamese novel } \\ \text{"Mrityunjay" (Immortal) by Birendra} \\ \text{ Kumar Bhattacharya and the three best} \\ \text {written entries were awarded with the cash } \\ \text{price of Rs.2000 and a novel of Mamoni } \\ \text{Raisom Goswami titled "Mamare Dhara} \\ \text{ Tarowal" (The Rusted Sword).} \:$
