One day a hare challenged a tortoise for a race. The tortoise agrees and they stand on the start line. The buzzer goes off and they start running. Halfway through the hare was so ahead that he could not see the tortoise. In his arrogance he decided to take rest for a while as he thought he would win this race for sure. While he was resting the tortoise bypassed the hare and kept moving. Without stopping the tortoise reached the goal first! Then the hare awoke and thought that the tortoise was still behind and went to the end. To his astonishment he saw that the tortoise had already finished. Then he felt shameful and learnt his lesson.
