We constantly hear of new scientific discoveries in our everyday lives. As human progresses, we constantly want our life to get more comfortable and the only way to do this is through science and technology. With science getting more and more advanced, lives are made comfortable, however we become spoilt. We want everything to be under our command and with the power of new age weapons, We end up harming each other. We may be as greedy as our ancient forefathers, but with our capabilities we are definitely much more dangerous than them. Therefore, I believe thst science is a threat to humanity as long as we are unable to use it responsibly and sensibly to its maximum potential.

Firstly, Though nanotechnology brings about great advancement in the fields of science, It may also cause mass poisoning. This is because nanotechnology involves dealing with extremely small particles that is able to cross the blood-brain barrier. If foreign particles are introduced to our brain, It may very well affect our well being and mental health. This is a possible risk that may wipe out an entire population if a poisonous particle was released.
