Speech about the precautions to be taken for protecting themselves from mosquito borne diseases like malaria, dengue, and c

Explanation:

Good morning, everyone. Today, I’m here to deliver a speech on the importance of protecting yourselves from mosquito-borne diseases like malaria, dengue, chikungunya.

As you all know, the spread of mosquito-borne diseases like malaria has been increasing in our state. Therefore, it is very important to prevent its danger from causing harm to human beings. Malaria is caused by a parasite known as plasmodium, which is usually spread by infected mosquitos. Its main symptoms are fever and the flu. The symptoms will appear within a short time after getting infected.

Chikungunya is a viral disease caused by mosquito. The major symptoms include fever and severe joint pain.

Dengue is a viral disease transmitted to humans through mosquito. The major symptoms are nausea, vomiting, aches and pains.  Therefore, we must take all possible measures to protect ourselves from these deadly disease.

  • Always try to stay away from mosquito breeding areas, such as swamps or marshy areas.
  • Never store water outside as it helps the mosquitoes breed.
  • Try using mosquito nets while sleeping.
  • Cover yourselves up after sunset.
  • Because mosquitoes cannot survive in low temperatures, try to sleep in cold areas or air-conditioned rooms.
  • Spray the bedroom with harmless insecticides to kill the mosquitos already present in the room.

These precaution measures can help you protect yourselves from malaria, dengue, and chikungunya. Therefore, keep your environment clean and lead a healthy lifestyle.

Thankyou.
