tomorrow . every time vaibhav would visit her , she would have already cleaned the house prepared the dishes for his welcome and invited everyone in the locality for a huge welcoming party.just as she was cleaning the house the phone rang. thinking it migt be vaibhav she hurried towards the phone and picked it up.
"hello? is this ms.veena?" said a voice from the phone
"yes." she replied , rather disappointed at finding that it wasnt her son.
"maam, is your sons name vaibhav?"
"yes! who are you? and how do you know my son's name?"
"maam this is the receptionist speaking from gopal aanand hospital, your son has been hospitalized due to a car crash ,pls come to pick him up at the earliest."?
veena could not believe what she heard, vaibhav?! in the hospital?! the phone dropped from her trembling hands as she thought of the condition her son may be in.she quickly regained herself and set out for the car keys.there was no time to be dressed , her son was in danger!
she walked towards the car wearing a coat over her gown and entered it and drove the fastest she had ever driven.when she reached the hospital she locked the car and rushed inside and immedieatly was pointed to her sons room. it was on the second floor so she had to take a lift. her heart was racing and her legs were trembling, tears were rolling down her eyes. she was truly scared , terrified of what might happen to her son. when she finally reached her sons room, she saw him lying on the bed all unconscious and covered in bandages. the doctor sitting beside rose and walker over to veena.
veena was relieved to hear that her son was fine and the damages werent too serious and that he would live. she ran to her son's side and stayed there. for the rest of his treatment she always stayed by him and never left his side. when he finally was able to walk again, veena took him home and made him promise that he would never scare her like that again.
