And don't be surprised if our CEO shows up dressed as Santa Claus to light the Christmas tree! Exchange of gifts among employees can be done at that time; however, no gift should be over 1000. Some years back, I had been invited to a Christmas party by one of my friends which was to be held in his friend's place. Having nothing else to do, I accepted the invitation and went with him to that party on the 24th of Dec.
On reaching the venue, I found that it was held in a really large farmhouse, and thought that it was nice. He had booked this venue, for he had been a rich kid and could get anything he wanted. Then the party progressed and things were going really well. Then, out of the blue, the electricity went out. Thinking it was just a minor short circuit, we decided to wait and even make jokes about it. The electricity returned but then went out again after some minutes. Fluctuating between on and off for about half an hour, it finally gave up and stopped altogether. We didn't think it'll last long so we went to the lawn and play games. But after an hour or so, we came to know that there will be no electricity supply for the whole night. And if that wasn't enough, it started raining heavily shortly. We were left stranded in the farmhouse, with no lights and stuck in due to the rains. It was one of the worst Christmas parties.
