It was late at night when i heard a loud thud, boom..... it went. shortly after, there was noise, loud cries, bottles breaking, cars screeching. Naturally, all neighbors from my apartment block rushed to their windows to find out what had happened. calls started coming in from my friends who lived at the furthest end to inquire if i had heard the the noises but i was also in the dark. i didn't know what was going on. but all i could hear was noise and cries from people asking for hep. help me, help me, they went on and on. no body dared to come out of the house. we were just staring through our windows. time went by and after about 1 hour, a colleague of mine called to ask if i knew what was happening in my neighborhood. i said i had heard the loud bang, but i didn't know exactly what was going on. she asked me to switch on the Television and see for myself and low and behold, it was a bomb blast which had exploded in one of the pubs close by.  Reporters were reporting across the street and i became terrified. in a flash my legs started shaking. i couldn't move. i was scared. started calling my friends to find out if they were safe as that was our favorite hangout joint. luckily enough no one had gone there that night. it took me close to 3 hours to finally settle and take everything in. by then it was approaching to 2 a.m and there i was no sleep, confused wondering what if these terrorists are i my block, what if they came to hide in our neighborhood. my heart was ready for the next bang. Thank goodness nothing happened. That nigh i didn't go to bed, i stayed awake till morning. i moved out of the house at about 9 a.m and police had sealed off that place and there was a diversion. i took my car and immediately drove to my parents house and stayed for a couple of days before finally going back to my place. we later got to learn that there were no survivors that night. they had arrested a couple of men as suspects and investigations were going on to find out exactly who had planned and executed the gruesome act.

Answer:

Explanation:

Late at night, I heard a huge thump, and then something went.

Then there was commotion, with loud cries, bottles smashing, and cars squealing.

Naturally, everyone in my apartment building's neighbours went to their windows to see what was going on.

Calls began rolling in asking if I had heard the noises from my friends who lived at the far end, but I was also in the dark.

I had no idea what was happening.

However, all I could hear was chaos and calls for help.

They kept repeating, "Help me, help me."

Nobody dared to venture outside.

We were merely gazing out the windows.

Time passed, and approximately an hour later, My coworker contacted to see if I was aware of what was going on in my area.

I acknowledged hearing the loud bang but stated that I was unsure of the circumstances.

She begged me to turn on the television so I could see it for myself, and sure enough, a bomb had gone off in one of the neighbourhood bars.

I was worried as I saw reporters across the street reporting.

My legs started shaking in an instant.

I became immobile.

I was terrified.

started calling my pals because there was our go-to hangout spot to see if they were safe.

Fortunately, nobody had visited that night.

I had to wait about three hours to completely calm down and ponder everything.

By this time, it was getting close to two in the morning, and I was awake and puzzled, wondering if these terrorists were on my block or if they had come to our area to hide.

My body was prepared for the subsequent bang.

Thank God, nothing unexpected occurred.

I didn't go to sleep that night; instead, I stayed awake till morning.

I left the house at 9 a.m., and the police had already sealed off the area and provided a diversion.

I quickly grabbed my car and drove to my parents' house, where I stayed for a few days before returning to my apartment.

There were no survivors that night, as we later learned.

they had made a few arrests Men were being investigated as potential suspects in order to determine who exactly had planned and carried out the heinous act.
