►Rahul and Yash were neighbours and with time grew to be good friends. Rahul, unlike Yash, was a swimmer and had participated in many swimming competitions. Inspired by Rahul, Yash decided to learn swimming. He enjoyed the very first time he got into the swimming pool and could feel much lighter. He was not fully trained as it was his first day there. He held Rahul’s hand in the beginning and then as instructed by the trainer he started on his own in the shallow end. He was enjoying a lot, when he felt something near his feet. Before he could realize anything he was pushed inside the pool. He started drowning and he thought his end was near. A chill went through his spine as his head went inside the water completely. He could not breathe, his eyes were closed and he used all his strength when suddenly his hands hit a face and he again stood up on his knees bringing his face out of the water. Horrified by the near to death experience, he opened his eyes and saw Rahul laughing. He knew what it meant and was pleased to be alive again, but never again in his life did he dare to go again in water.
