                        Vigilant Sandhya

Sandhya, a vigilant girl averted a burglary in her neighborhood. She noticed a strange, suspicious movement going on in the backyard of her neighbor’s house. She knew the neighbors were out of the city to attend an important family function. The aunt had come specially to request her mother to take care of their house in their absence. Sandhya had overheard it.  

In the evening when she was studying, sitting in the balcony, she noticed some two men carrying something out of her neighbor’s house. They handed over TV-like thing to men standing outside the house, who loaded it in a van. Then all of a sudden she remembered the neighbors were not at home. She realized what was going on. She immediately dialed the police number. Within no time the police van reached the spot and arrested the burglars.  

Later on one of the burglars was identified as one of the servants of the house. The police thanked Sandhya. When neighbors returned they bought Sandhya a nice gift for saving their expensive household articles from being burgled.
