I jumped out of the bed at midnight after hearing some scary noises outside from my room.

I got so scared that I was in no state to ask for help. I thought there is some thief in the house. I wanted to warn my parents and neighbours about it but I was too scared to do so.

I thought of many ways through which I can contact my parents but then I realised that my phone was in my parent's room.

I got up and assured myself that I can tackle this situation and rushed towards my parent's room.

when I got out of my room suddenly all the lights were on and I turned left and saw that my parents are standing holding a cake. I was too shocked and got a little bit excited as well. My father and mother started singing a happy birthday song for me and then I realised that all this was for my birthday that I forgot because of my final year exams. I was too overwhelmed with this gesture and was also laughing at myself for forgetting my own birthday. I cut the cake and then my parents gave me my birthday present and wished me with lots of blessings.

So that's how a shocking incident turned into an exciting one.
