It was an extremely hot afternoon and the roads were deserted. As Trisha walked down the lane she didn't even see a single soul, men or animals, and she sensed a sort of foresight into something undesirable and beads of sweat surrounded her brows. She looked straight at the seemingly non-ending road and her GPS indicated the distance she had to reach was four and a quarter kilometer from where she stood, She had no choice but to continue.
She had hardly walked fifty meters when she saw her boss Mr. Kelkar walking briskly into the post office. He wore a haggard look, but Trisha didn't bother to exchange a few words with him. She followed him and hardly two minutes had passed when everyone on the street heard a deafening blast inside the post office. Immediately, there was a maddening chaos as everyone wanted to come out of the exit gate and there was a stampede. Trisha ducked and sat under a chair which were kept for the people. When she realized that it was a comparatively less crowded she slowly came out and headed for the gate and as soon as she came out of the building there was another blast which shattered the building.
Trisha was saved, but many people, including the employees of the post office had met a terrible end. Trisha would never forget that she was not able to do anything for anyone and the burden has been huge till this day.
