“A near-death experience”

- William Franklin

There was this Sunday morning, beautiful as heaven, cold breeze flowing in the clear blue sunny sky. I was enjoying a cup of tea while sitting on my balcony, enjoying the sites of this living world. Birds were chirping all around and suddenly my chest began to feel heavy. A sudden deep pain covered all of my chest, I was feeling like my end was near, like it was my last day on this Earth. I wanted to call my husband, my daughter and everybody to say the final 'Good Bye'. I tried to call my daughter but my voice didn't came the hell out of my throat. I tried so hard but my throat felt like chocked with soot, suddenly my legs begin to shake, I knew one thing that I was blacking out. I was terrified that this was that very moment of my life. I wasn't able to feel anything and suddenly I landed with thud on the floor, collapsed and fainted out. My eyes opened and I saw a white room filled with strange voices "All set... Clear, another shot... all set... clear". I was being provide with some regular shocks at my chest with an Automated External Defibrillator. I was at the hospital, the doctors were trying to save my life, I believe. I was able see my husband through the room's window, he seemed terrified, probably he was praying to the Lord for my wellness. He looked at me and seeing that I was awake, he made a heavenly gesture of relief. I knew in my heart that this wasn't my very last day on this Earth. After the doctors did their work, my husband and my daughter came in and sat beside me. My husband told me that due to a sudden drop in my blood pressure I blacked out. I was so relieved to hear that I didn't fainted due to a major reason, it was just a drop in the blood pressure.
