Answer:

Actions speak louder than words

The saying "Actions speak louder than words" is an age old adage. It is a popular quote for its moral meaning. This adage means that actions are more important than thoughts or words. because actions solve problems and get work done. Actions solve problems because actions are physically capable of doing things, unlike words which can turn out to be empty. Actions solve problems and they get works done. When we say actions speak louder than words, we are expressing the fact that people's actions show their real attitudes. Actions reveal what is in their hearts. Actions of people matter more rather than what they say. This proverb can be found in the teachings of almost all religions of the world.

A poor man came to the house of a rich man. He said to the rich man how hungry he was. The rich man turned out to be selfish and arrogant, he replied that if he is hungry he should go and find something to eat. So, the rich man did nothing for the poor man. He neither offered him any food to eat nor indicated the place where food can be found.

We may feel pity for someone in need. But feeling of pity or saying how much you pity them is not enough unless followed by action of love and compassion.
