AN INCIDENT THAT TAUGHT ME “NEVER GIVE UP” BY URJITA RAJ ❤️
This story is about a handicapped teenaged girl who was not able to speak , walk or do any sensitive work like putting a thread in a niddle in the proper manner….
When she was just 5 and started her education, her parents and teachers noticed that she was not able to hold the pencil properly like other kids , but anyhow she started and continued her education in NAZARETH ACADEMY , LOCATED IN HER HOMETOWN GAYA DISTRICT OF BIHAR (INDIA)… She was there for 11 beautiful years❤️, from Lower kindergarten till middle of class 9th (2006–2016).
After September 2015, when she was in class 8th , her right leg started working improperly too.. As soon as her parents came to know about this, their tension multiplied. Of course it's natural , after all she was 15 now…. They were worried about her and now they wanted her to be perfect like others.. In the initial years also , her parents took her to PATNA , DELHI, KOLKATA AND RANCHI ..
In Ranchi , she started her treatment, she along with family was soo satisfied that now her hands will start working properly again.. But WHO HAS SEEN THE FUTURE , NEITHER YOU NOR I BUT AT THE END ALWAYS URJITA HAS TO CRY ! :(
There was a development in her hands but there was deterioration in her leg.. And finally the day came when her right leg stopped working.. After visiting approximately every hospital of Gaya , Patna and many others nearby cities finally she went to Bengaluru.. There she was admitted in NIMHANS Hospital for 4 months. During this time period she was on wheelchair. Her family has somehow lost the hope that she will ever be able to walk again like before or she will have to go anywhere with the help of wheelchair only. But the main problem was that if she won't be able to walk again , how she will complete her studies and do several activities of her everyday life, Urjita was confused too. She had to leave her old school NAZARETH ACADEMY due to her handicapped body.. She was very depressed now.. Every morning when she worked up and saw her friends going to school , she used to burst into tears. She was constantly trying to walk. She was honestly willing to go to school and restart her life..
Few days later she decided to fight from her problems and she indeed. She started practice cycling and she was dedicated towards it.. And few days later she was considered the best cycler of the whole colony despite of being handicapped. Slowly after few months she got admitted in NATIONAL PUBLIC SCHOOL, GAYA and she started going to school by her cycle.. Finally she restarted her studies. Though she faced a lot of challenges in her everyday life and still she did not give up and
