I am sure we all had heard the proverb empty vessels make a loud noise but I had not understood the proverb fully till now. This is a real-life incident that happened to me that I will write in the form of a story. I was busy one day as I had to go to a hospital in Ramapuram. My husband and I set out and in the middle of the journey, some policeman started to chase us.
We immediately stopped the car on the left side and asked what the problem was. The policeman said that my husband was talking on the phone while he was driving so he had to pay the fine. I was shocked as my husband hates this habit even when other drivers do it and also because I was holding his phone while he drove so that he does not get disturbed.
The policeman asked me to show the phone to him and just showed a random number and said that he was speaking to this person. My husband wanted to come out of the situation so asked the policeman how much to pay and leave the issue.
The policeman asked for Rs.2500 and removed a police form that was kept with a vegetable seller and gave it to my husband. Finally, I realized that this was a big fraud going on. We just drove off taking the form with us and the poor policeman shouted please give back the form atleast.
The policeman in this case was the empty vessel who made much noise to disturb us but still could not get anything out of us.
