....I was startled when I saw the shadow, I suddenly closed my book and stood up. Nobody was in the house except me, as my family had gone out for a function. I gathered the courage to step inside the kitchen and saw a person sitting in front of the fridge. His back was turned towards me and he was constantly rummaging through the refrigerator with shaky hands. I acted fast and closed the door of the kitchen, trapping the burglar inside. Though I heard shuffling in the kitchen, I paid no attention to it and called my parents. After those heavy 30 minutes, my parents arrived with cops but as soon as they opened the door, nobody was found inside. The refrigerator door was closed with just some fruits missing. After a thorough search of the house the cops left. But I still don't know who that person was.
