Answer:
The Tortoise and The Hare
Once there lived a hare who always teased a tortoise for his slow movement. He often boasted about himself being the fastest runner in the woods and wanted to compete with the slow-moving tortoise. One day the tortoise became tired of the hare’s attitude and agreed to compete with him saying that his strength was his persistence. The hare covered quite a distance and came across a field where cabbages were being grown. He thought of having a quick snack and then continuing, too sure that he would be winning at the end. When he had finished eating, he looked around to see that the tortoise hadn’t passed halfway. This made him even more overconfident about his own victory. So he decided to rest for some time thinking that the tortoise wouldn’t be able to make it and he would get cross the finish line. Hours passed. When he woke up, he looked around and saw the tortoise near the finish line. The hare ran faster but still couldn’t beat the tortoise in the competition.
Moral: It’s important to do things slowly and steadily rather than acting quickly and carelessly in order to be successful.
