This is the story when I was eleven years old. During those days I was fond of musical dolls. I liked them very much. I had one doll which I always kept with me as my companion. I used to spend time with it playing and talking to. Where I used to go, I used to take it along with me. Once, I was going out of station for a wedding with my parents and my brother. I was carrying my doll with me. In the train, there was a girl who was elder than me. She was also traveling with her parents. In the journey we became friends but I wasn't aware of the fact that she was just acting to be my friend. I introduced her to my doll and gave her to play with. During the night when we went to sleep, I noticed some activity but didn't pay much attention to it. Early morning when I woke up I realized that my doll was missing. I told my parents about this. I started to cry. Even my brother's toy car was missing. He also started to weep along with me. My parents searched everywhere but they were unable to find anything. The girl who was traveling with us was also not present there. My parents told that their destination arrived in the middle of the night. It came to the conclusion that the girl had stolen my doll. I became very sad about this and started to cry louder. My parents told me that she had the habit of stealing things as she was a kleptomaniac. They assured me that they will buy me another doll once we reach our destination. I really missed the doll as it was my favorite.
