Answer:
Last Sunday, I, along with my friends, decided to go to the riverside for a picnic. We planned to spend the whole day there, but we soon realized we would have to postpone our picnic. When we arrived at the riverside, there was a stranger sitting with his back towards us in our usual spot.
"Excuse me," my friend said, "but are you saving this spot for anyone?" We waited, but the stranger didn't respond.
"Sir?" I asked, but the stranger just responded with an grunt. "Are you alright?" I asked as I turned the stranger to face me. I was shocked to meet the eyes of a human-like reptile.
"Run before I feed you to the trolls!" The reptile explained. My friends and I looked at each other, screamed, and ran. The sound of slithering raced behind us as we sprinted for our lives.
Once we finally reached a clearing, we rested and headed home a little shaken up.
We've never been back to that place since.

Explanation:
Last Sunday I along with my friends decided to go to the riverside for a picnic. We planned to spend the whole day there but things did not go as we planned.
The original plan was to enjoy our day without any disturbance, and we even kept our phones away. But even before we could start with the day, we got a call right after we reached our destination. One of my friend's parents have called him back, to get back home as soon as possible. Wondering what the reason could be, we did not ask any questions. And since we came in one car, we all went back. Once home, we came to know that his grandmother had died suddenly after we had left for the picnic. Feeling bad and sorry for our dear friend, we all got into the house and helped them in whatever way we can. The picnic may have been ruined, but it was nothing compared to the loss of life. And we would never enjoy without our friend, the picnic can wait but for that day and time, our presence at the house was more important than anything else.
