The night of scorpion is written by nissim Ezekiel of the AQA mythology . It start in a house at night where it is raining and scorpion , in order to take some shelter and come from House. the poem is about how a scorpion stung to poet mother's and mother love for her children.

The poem opens in a way that suggest reflection _ the speaker remember the night his mother was stung by a scorpion which bit the mother because of its predatory impulse , while hiding beneath ha bag of rice to escape from the rain . The speaker specially remember this night due to this event mainly the mother getting bitten . the way in which the mother is bitten is also known as flash of diabolic tail . the speakers manages to support that's the scorpion is demonic with it's diabolic tails .
