I was sitting near the window, and while landing got a glimpse of the scattered islands.

We somehow managed to board one taxi which took us to a Hotel named 'NK International'.
The hotel was old but it was not bad, and the room rate was reasonable.
We planned to stay only one day in Port Blair and left for Havelock Island the next morning.
The Hotel at Havelock Island was very near to Phoenix Bay Jetty, so without any delay as moved up to the reservation counter in the Jetty for buying the ticket for Havelock Island.
There was a long queue for verification of Identity card.
Then we filled up the form and bought the ticket for Ship for the next day morning at 6.00 AM.
Before planning for the trip we did some research and concluded that Govt accommodation in Havelock would probably be the best option.
So we took Auto (from Jetty to Andaman Tourism Office.
But we got the reservation. We checked in, had lunch and rested for a while.
We planned to visit Ross Island in the late afternoon.
So we caught an Auto from Hotel and rushed to Ross Island and enjoyed the evening in Havelock.
Then we visited port, Blair. After relaxing we planned for one final sightseeing, i.e. Cellular Jail. So we took an auto paid a nominal entry fee.
The view of the Jail from outside is spectacular. It has got a typical shape.
Every evening at 7 PM, they play a light & sound show but we did wait for it.
Then we came to the city roamed around and came back to the hotel.
Next day we Checked out from a hotel in the morning boarded our flight Indian Airlines.
We reached the airport on time.
Within two hours, we reached Chennai and from there back home to B'lore by Paramount Airways.
