iron- used for making Iron nails and other industrial gadgets.
copper- for making wires to carry electric current
aluminium- for making aluminium foils to wrap food
zinc- for the process of galvanisation

non metals
oxygen- essential for breathing
chlorine- for purification of water
carbon - used in crackers
hydrogen- used as a fuel.
sulfur- in gunpowders and matchsticks
