Write about a few restrictions imposed on you at home?
Answers
Answer:
Restrictions are useful for teens, and even helpful. As a parent you look out for your kids because they can get in over their heads if there's no supervision at all. They don't suddenly wake up one day with all of their parents' knowledge even though some of them think that they do.
Even if restrictions don't keep kids safe from
screwing up 100% of the time, it doesn't make some rules useless.
The teen years are a time when they slowly get more responsibility and freedoms. Then they have a much better understanding of how to handle many different situations by the time they're young adults.
By the time they're in their 20s they aren't kids anymore. The parents' say in their lives in more limited. It varies depending on whether the 20-something is living with their parents or depending on them for living expenses or not.
At this age parents can easily overstep in a way that's counterproductive.
