Answer:

NATURAL FIBERS :-

are fibers that are produced by plants, animals, and geological processes. They can be used as a component of composite materials, where the orientation of fibers impacts the properties. Natural fibers can also be matted into sheets to make paper or felt.

eg:- Plant fibres include seed hairs, such as cotton; stem (or bast) fibres, such as flax and hemp;leaf fibres, such as sisal; and husk fibres, such as coconut. Animal fibres include wool, hair and secretions, such as silk.

ARTIFICIAL FIBRES:-

Synthetic fibres are man-made fibres, most of them are prepared from raw material petroleum called petrochemicals. All fabrics are obtained from fibres, while fibres are obtained from artificial or man-made sources. They consist of a small unit or a polymer which is made from many repeating units known as monomers.

eg:-polyester, acrylic, nylon, rayon, acetate, spandex, latex and Kevlar.
