Plant cell :-

  1. A rigid cell wall is present.
  2. Chloroplast are present.
  3. Large vacuoles are present and occupy a large portion of the cell.
  4. Centrosomes are absent.
  5. Lysomes are absent...

FUNCTION OF PLANT CELL :

1)Plant cells have large membrane bound chamber called vacuole. Its main function is storage.

2) Vacuoles are found in the cytoplasm of most plant cells. They are membrane bound organelles, they perform functions of secretion, excretion and storage.

3)Tonoplast: A vacuole that is surrounded by a membrane is called tonoplast.

\textsf{\large{\underline{Plant Cell Definition}}}

Plant cells are eukaryotic cells with a true nucleus along with specialized structures called organelles that carry out certain specific functions.

\textsf{\large{\underline{What is a Plant Cell?}}}

Plant cells are eukaryotic cells that vary in several fundamental factors from other eukaryotic organisms. Both plant and animal cells contain nucleus along with similar organelles. One of the distinctive aspects of a plant cell is the presence of a cell wall outside the cell membrane.

\textsf{\large{\underline{Plant Cell Diagram}}}

The plant cell is a rectangular and comparatively larger than the animal cells. Even though plant and animal cells are eukaryotic and share a few cell organelles, plant cells are quite distinct when compared to animal cell as they fulfil different functions. Some of these differences can be clearly understood when the cells are examined under an electron microscope.
