I was in this EXACT situation only it was my dad that kept taking everything away.

I know how frustrating it can be especially because it feels like they don’t care about anything you say to them. No amount of reasoning, arguing, or compromising helps and it ends up causing a lot of stress between the two of you.

What I ended up doing was sticking to the “out of sight, out of mind” rule and it ended up working out for me.

You know that your mom gets angry when she sees your devices so don't give her the opportunity to take it away or use it against you in an argument. This way the next time she blames your attitude on you being on your device too often you can ask when the last time you were on it was. Don't “feed the flame” as they say.

Also while it's hard to understand, try to remember where your mom is coming from. Odds are she didn't have all of the technology you have while she was growing up. Granted, they did have things that were the equivalent to what we have today it’s hard to see that. At the end of the day, she is your mom and she probably just wants to spend time with you.
