Answer:

Although for most people COVID-19 causes only mild illness, it can make some people very ill. More rarely, the disease can be fatal. Older people, and those with pre- existing medical conditions (such as high blood pressure, heart problems or diabetes) appear to be more vulnerable.

Explanation:

About 80% of confirmed cases recover from the disease without any serious complications. However, one out of every six people who gets COVID-19 can become seriously ill* and develop difficulty in breathing. In more severe cases, infection can cause severe pneumonia and other complications which can be treated only at higher level facilities (District Hospitals and above).

Explanation:

Coronaviruses (CoV) are a large family of viruses that cause illness ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-CoV) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-CoV).

The coronavirus has affected our lives in several ways. Economically - where most work is on a hold, physically -where we miss our workouts at gyms and parks, mentally - as the lockdown has blocked all gatherings. We have been missing out lectures since a few weeks and now again for the next 21 days. Online lectures do not help with lab work or solve our complex doubts. On the positive side, the holidays and the lockdown have helped us to explore our hobbies, enjoy our childhood and it has given us time to hit pause on our daily routines. Environmentally, there is no doubt that pollution has decreased and AQI has improved.
