Evaporation:

the process by which an element or compound transitions from its liquid state to its gaseous state below the temperature at which it bolis ; in particular , the process by which liquid water enters the atmosphere as water vapor.

Condensation:

condensation is the process where water vapour becomes liquid . It is the reverse of evaporation , where liquid water becomes a vapor. Condensation happens one of two ways : Either the air is cooled to its dew point or it becomes so saturated with water vapor that it cannot hold any more water.

Sedimentation:

sedimentation is the tendency for particles in suspension to settle out of the fluid in which they are entrained and come to rest again barrier . This is due to their motion through the fluid in response to the forces acting on them : these forces can be due to gravity, centrifugal acceleration or electromagnetism.

Threshing:

threshing is the process of loosening the edible part of grain from the husks and straw to which it is attached . It is the step in grain preparation after reaping and before winnowing which separates the grain from the chaff .
