Grand mother used to wake up early in morning and she would recite her prayers , she would get narrator dressed, then she would plaster the slate and would give narrator breakfast of thick slate chappati, she would go to school with him as temple was attached to it, she would give chappati to stray dogs who waited for them.

⭐ grandmother used to wake up early in the morning. plaster narrator's slate with yellow chalk and let it dry. then she would wake up narrator, get him ready for school and then give him breakfast. usually it was of thick slate chapaati woth butter and sugar. then she would gather the slate and ink pot, take some stale chapaati and go to temple where all kids were taught. in the way she would let dogs eat the chapaati and when they reach temple, grandmother would start reading holy scriptures and narrator would be taught by priest. when they both finished, the move back towards their house. ⭐
