1. There are 5 ridges & five furrows are present.

2. Inbtwo rings vascular bundles are arranged.

3. Every ring will have total 10 vascular bundles as there are 5 arrangement of 2 rings.

4. In them vascular bundle is endarch.

5. It is found to be open, conjoint and bicollateral.

6. In size inner ring is large in comparison of outer ring & it lies below the furrows.

7. In the ridge region hypodermic is usually present.

8. Chlorenchymatous is the general cortex in them.

9. Sclerenchymatous is the pericycle.

10. Inner cambium is found not functional but the outer cambium is found to be functional.
