Kakinada (formerly called Kakinandiwada, Coringa, Cocanada) About this soundlisten (help·info) is the sixth largest city of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh and serves as the district headquarters of the East Godavari district.[6] It lies on the coast of the Bay of Bengal. It also has one of the oldest and biggest Government Hospitals of the state known as Government General Hospital, Kakinada.
