Mid day meal is a scheme organised by government for the school children the government had ordered each and every government school to prepare a meal for the school children with nutritional value like milk and fruits also and government will send the money for this program to schools this has a lot of benefits like the poor children are helped and they won't bring tiffin and can get tiffin for free and high nutritional value.

Tamilnadu was the first state and place to introduce the mid day meal for the first time in 1984.
