One of the most important Indian mathematicians who has made significant contributions in the field of mathematics is Srinivasa Ramanujan. He has made several contributions to number theory. His birthday December 22 is celebrated as National Mathematical Day and his 125th birth anniversary as on 2012 and so this year was declared as the National Mathematical Year. "The Man who knew infinity" is the biography of Srinivasa Ramanujan. There is a number associated with Ramanujan called the Ramanujan number. It is 1729. It is the smallest number that can be expressed as the sum of cubes of numbers in two different ways :
 10³+1³=1729 and 1³+12³=1729

TPS: 1729 = 10^3 + 9^3 = 1^3 + 12^3
