There always exists a generation gap between parents and children and I too am not an exception. There are many points on which my parents differ from me. A few of them are the choice of music, the company of friends, dressing sense, attitude towards things in general.

For instance, I like loud western music while my parents prefer classical and semi-classical Indian music. When it comes to dressing code, I'm a bit casual but my mom is always after my life to have my outfit perfectly ironed. She would buy me matching sandals and shoes, though I don't much bother about all that. I'm a little laid back about my work and often complete my work at the nick of the moment. My parents, on the other hand, always advice me to finish my work well before time. There are often arguments about my friends and how I take friendship which does not reach any final change in opinion on both the sides.

Anyhow, I feel it's much natural to have such differences because the time they grew up was totally different and after all, we all are different human being with different perspectives.
