Jet streams :- These are the fast blowing wind in narrow belt. Speed is upto 110 to 180 km .

Western cyclonic disturbances:- It is the weather phenomenon of the winter month brought in by the westerly flow from the meridian region. It is responsible for bringing winter rainfall ( Mahawat) in the northern hemisphere.
