monitor is a most common output device.
a. namely there three types of monitor technologies available in the market which are CRT monitors,LED monitors, TFT monitors and LCD monitors.
1. CRT stands for cathode ray tube. CRT monitors are however, are generally less expensive but consume more electricity.They were capable of working with any type of computer by connecting through a serial interface.
2. LCD stands for liquid crystal display. LCD monitors are thinner, lighter and they consume less electricity. they also produce sharp images.this monitor contains a circuitry that generates picture on the screen from set of signals.
3. LED stands for Light emitting diode.they have bigger screens that means they have better resolution. image is clear and more visible especially in these computers. they are new generation.
4. TFT monitors stand for film transistor.it has Improved technology from LCD and Consumes less power compared to CRT.
