Most Microorganism cause very severe diseases in plants and animals. These diseases are communicable and can spread from one person to another by any physical or biological contact. Disease causing microorganisms are basically of three types, i.e., viruses, bacteria, and protozoans. Some of the microbial diseases are cholera (bacteria), asthama (bacteria), Aquired Immuno - Deficiency Syndrome or AIDs ( viruses), Malaria (protozoans) etc..
